The innovative SkyAir system is designed to quietly blend into the ambiance of shops, restaurants, small offices or home environments. Daikin’s Vertical Air Handler System is installed completely out of view and air is directed through ducts or venting. A vertical air handler unit is ideal for installations with false ceilings, as duct work can be run above the ceiling with vents installed right into the ceiling tiles. A vertical air handler system is a cost-effective alternative to a traditional AC system. The air handler can be installed as horizontal left, horizontal right, upflow or downflow installation configurations. It is designed for zero clearance installation, leaving only 24" clearance in the front of the unit for service and maintenance. The indoor unit has a maximum of 0.9" W.G. External Static Pressure (ESP) capabilities.

The Daikin FTQ18TAVJUA / RZR18TAVJUA 18000 BTU system is a COOLING ONLY system and includes the outdoor inverter compressor unit as well as the indoor Vertical Air Handler. The outdoor unit features Anti-corrosion Treatment of Outdoor Heat Exchanger Fin. This system will operate when outdoor temperatures are as low as 23°F up to 122°F. It is a cooling only unit. Electric heater options are available separately, please contact us.
