The InstallProAlarm replaces the MatSense Pro as an electrical fault indicator. It will simultaneously monitor the hot, neutral and ground wires during the installation of your Nuheat floor mat. With an electric fault indicator you can ensure a correct Nuheat installation every time. The fault indicator will let you know, with a loud alarm tone (93 dBA), if there is a break in your line, letting the installer know there is a problem that needs correcting. With the InstallProAlarm, the alarm will sound for 24 hours (as compared to 1 hour with the previous MatSense Pro).
This item is not required but is highly recommended. The Install Pro Alarm uses a 9V battery and is small at just 3.75"l x 2"w x 1.5"d. It weighs less than half a pound - 0.3 oz!
