Product Overview
The RAKDTKH is the required interface kit when installing a 24V thermostat to control your Hotpoint AHHS or AHES PTAC unit.
In addition, Dip Switch Configuration is an optional feature on Hotpoint AHHS and AHES PTACs. The RAKDTH houses the Dip Switches for your PTAC settings. Once installed, the Dip Switches are accessible on the front of the RAKDTKH kit.
The dip switch configurations are as follows:
- S1 - Wall Thermostat Enable/Control Panel Enable
- S2 - Electric Heat Only/Electric Heat and Pump Heat
- S3 - Low temp. Protection disable/enable
This connection kit is only required if you are installing a remote thermostat or would like access to the dip switch settings.
The RAKDTKH is for use with 208/240V Hotpoint PTACs. For 265/277V models, the RAKETKH is used.
