Product Overview
The Hotpoint RAA71H is a 2-pack of replacement air filters. The Hotpoint AHES and AHHS series of PTAC units use 2 filters. The frame of the filters is color-matched to the A series. When replacing the filters, both should be replaced at the same time. The old filters are simply pulled up and out and the new ones slide into place.
While the original filters are reusable and can be vacuumed, rinsed and dried before returning them to the unit, over time, replacement filters will be necessary. The most important thing you can do to maintain your PTAC's efficiency is to the clean the filters every two weeks or as needed. Clogged and dirty filters reduce the cooling, heating and airflow of your unit.
