Features such as a "matchless" pilot ignition and an automatic thermostat mean no electricity is necessary to run this furnace. Since it requires no electricity, this furnace is great during power outages. A self-generating millivolt thermostat that can be wall or cabinet mounted as well as a resettable vent-limit safety switch are standard on all models.

An optional blower can be attached to the top of your Monterey furnace. A blower improves circulation of warm air and reduces temperature differences in the room.  Two models are available - the standard 100 CFM blower (model 2901) and a deluxe blower which offers 125 CFM (model 2907). If a blower is installed, however, electricity is required.  For elevations over 4,000 feet above sea level, select the High Altitude option.  Made in the USA.
