  • If your room is on the top floor, use the higher BTU response.
  • In high humidity areas, lower BTUs will take longer to cool but will do a better job of dehumidifying.
  • The low side of the response is estimated to give a room temperature of 78° F. If you like cooler temperatures, you will need higher BTUs.
  • High temperature area such as Southern California, Texas, and Florida, require higher BTUs.
  • Northern areas such as Washington, Maine, and Wisconsin require lower BTUs.
