A direct-vent fireplace is a sealed fireplace system. It is designed for installation into a wall or mantel. The Small Loft Series Direct Vent Fireplace features a linear burner and a reflective black liner allowing the flames to flicker, dance and reflect inside the sealed combustion chamber. In the event of a power outage the intermittent pilot can operate with a standing pilot to provide heat.

Additional Requirements (sold separately) for this Loft Series Fireplace include:
  • Decorative Surround with a Barrier Screen or a Decorative Front with Barrier Screen (to meet 2105 Safety Requirements)
Other available accessories include decorative media, remote control (FRBC), wall switch (FWS1) and a variable speed blower (FBB8).
 
This direct vent fireplace features a 25 1/4" w x 10 7/16" h glass and is a top vent unit, for use with liquid propane. It is also available for use with natural gas - DVL25FP72N.
 
This fireplace uses 4" x 6 5/6" Venting Components. A termination kit is required to finish off the outside of your system.
 
Gas Pressure Requirements:
  • Inlet Gas Supply Pressure: 10.8 WC (Min.); 14" WC (Max.)
  • Manifold Gas Supply Pressure: 10.0" WC
  • 1/2" NPT Threads
The Loft Series is also available with a millivolt valve/standing pilot system with on/off switch (DVL25FP32N or DVL25FP32P).
 
 
Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required. Models using Propane Gas must be operated with a 100 lb or larger tank and an external regulator with an output of 10.8 - 14" WC must be used.
 
*Glass media and pebbles can be mix and match but you will need 1.25 sq. ft. of coverage. All Decorative Media is available separately or pre-packaged for use with this appliance in the Add to Cart box above.
