Designed for use in hydronic heating systems to protect against limescale buildup and corrosion, Sentinel X100RD Inhibitor is a leave-in system treater. The X100RD rapid dose inhibitor is the quickest application you can use and there is no need to completely de-pressurize the system unless it is above 33 psi. Simply switch off the boiler and allow to cool. The system pressure should be less than 33 PSI when the product is applied. Never attempt to dose into a hot system! The can discharges into the system in about 30 seconds, meaning less time on the job with excellent results.
One can of Sentinel X100RD is sufficient to treat a typical 25 gallon home hydronic system. Larger systems will require 2 cans. Ideally, any system should be cleaned and flushed first with an appropriate Sentinel cleaner such as X400 or X800. Because X100 is a leave-in treatment, no unit flushing is required once the can is dispensed into the system. Additionally the X100 formula will maintain the stability of the pH levels of the system water. It is recommended that X100 inhibitor is part of your annual boiler servicing the maintain protection.
