The TXB-UL762 models are upblast belt driven centrifugal exhausters and are best suited for both general applications and restaurant applications*. Model TXB exhausters are best for use in the removal of dirty, contaminated and/or high temperature air. Uses for the TXB exhausters include restaurant hood and similar kitchen exhaust ventilation, fume and smoke removal as well as laboratory fume hood exhaust and chemical process exhaust. For grease removal applications, fan must be installed per NFPA 96 with a 40" discharge height and hinged access base
The TXB18RHULSH1S is a size 18 model, with a fan wheel of 18 inches in diameter. It features a heavy duty aluminum construction with a galvanized steel curb cap and stainless steel exterior fasteners. The backward-inclined centrifugal wheel is dynamically balanced for long lasting, smooth operation. The TXB16RHULSH1S wheel is nonoverloading for use in a ducted or non-ducted installations, vertically through the roof. The TXB18RHULSH1S will produce 4318 CFMs at zero static pressure. The single phase motor is 1 horsepower and features 115/208-230 Tri-Voltage. Standard on all S&P 1, 1 1/2 and 2 horsepower motors is Thermal Overload Protection.
The motor is a single speed open drip-proof motor and is rated for continuous use. The cover is easily removed for maintenance. An external weather-proof disconnect is also standard on all TXB models.
An automatic belt tensioner is available for TXB models sized 18-24. The addition of this helps to eliminate the risk of over-tensioning the drive components. The 100070 Automatic Belt Tensioner (for use with size 18 and 20 TXB models) must be ordered at the time of your roof exhauster and it is factory-installed. 100072 Automatic Belt Tensioner is for use with size 24 model.
S&P TXB model Upblast Belt Drive Centrifugal Exhausters with roof installation can be used to replace Greenheck CUBE, Loren Cook ACRUB/VCR, Pennbarry FX/WFX, Carnes VUBK, Acme PNURF/PNURG and Fantech 5BDU models.
*Neither a damper nor a birdscreen kit can be used in restaurant/grease applications. Restaurant curbs must be 18" high per NFPA-96 which prohibits the use of backdraft damper for grease removal.
