Adding a heater coil to your Mr. Cool Universal Series Vertical Air Handler will allow for more heating capabilities in the winter. The 15.0 kW coil will provide approximately 50,000 - 55,000 BTUs of emergency / back-up electric heat. A plug-in wiring harness allows for easy installation into the air handler.
 
The electric heat kit is field installed. Although it is not required, it is a recommended option.
