KwiKool's AtticMaster is a great solution for spot cooling people or equipment in high temperature areas such as attics and crawl spaces. This machine is like the little engine that could. Set up the unit in the cooler area (below 100°F) and run the duct to the high temperature area. The duct opening should be within 5 feet of the person being cooled. The AtticMaster should be able to achieve a 20°F temperature differential across its coil, keeping your tech a bit more comfortable while working. The Attic Master can move air up to 90 feet through its insulated 6" duct and will not form condensation.
Proudly made in America, the Attic Master is a commercial spot cooler and boasts 13,700 BTU. It is a great solution for you and your technicians to keep a cool head while working in high temperature areas. As you know, it is often impractical and/or prohibitively expensive to cool a space where temperatures are above 110°F. It uses 115v and my be the perfect ambient spot cooler when you have to work in an attic or a crawl space.
The Attic Master has a small footprint and is easily maneuverable to those hard to reach areas where spot cooling is needed. It includes 8" heavy duty wheels and front locking casters for easy rolling from space to space or job to job. It is compact enough to easily fit through doorways. In conjunction with its portability, the 50 foot power cord included should be long enough to reach a dedicated circuit for use. It has high static air flow and can move air up to 90 feet. The air moves through its specialized duct which prevents unwanted condensation. The 30' duct comes in its own storage bag. The covering on the duct includes air holes to make it easy to compress and put away in its storage bag. The main unit of the Attic Master is placed separately in a cooler area away from where the work is taking place and the 30 foot long, 6" duct is extended and placed in the area you are working. If 30 feet is not long enough, an additional 60 feet can be added separately, making it 90 feet long! Not to worry - even if you need to extend the original 30' reach, the Attic Master will still maintain the level of efficiency you are used to getting.
The Attic Master also has a 3.5 gallon condensate tank complete with overflow protection. It is located in the main unit. It does require manual emptying and when the tank is full the machine will shut off automatically. Additionally, it includes an automatic restart feature.
The Attic Master is easy to operate too. It includes only 3 toggle switches on the front of the main unit:
- ON / OFF
- FAN / COOL - Gives you the option of Fan Only or Fan with Compressor on and
- LOW / HIGH - Low speed for use with 30' duct (550 CFMs) and High for 60' (495 CFMs) / 90' (425 CFMs) duct
