The CDXS15LVJU Slim Duct Concealed Ceiling Unit gives you 15000 BTUs of cooling power which is ample for about 650 sq. ft. or a relatively large room. It is less than 8 inches high and installs into the ceiling or soffit area and features 5 fan speeds plus auto and quiet modes. Since it installs in the ceiling it is a perfect solution for rooms that are hard to cool, helping to eliminate hot and cold spots with its widespread airflow. When used for heating, the Hot Start feature eliminates that blast of cold air. This unit comes with a mold proof filter, wireless remote control with LCD backlit screen and illuminated buttons, auto restart and a 24 hour on/off timer. Other standard features include:
- Program Dry Function - This gives priority to reducing the level of humidity in the room rather that room temperature.
- Automatic Operation - For unattended year-round comfort, this function allows the unit to automatically switch between heating and cooling modes as required.
- Auto Fan Speed
- Standby Electricity Saving
- Econo Mode
- Powerful Operation
- Night Set Mode
- Self Diagnosis with Digital Display
The Slim Duct unit is available in 4 additional sizes to easily accommodate each rooms unique heating and cooling size requirement: FDXS09LVJU (9,000 BTUs), FDXS12LVJU (12,000 BTUs), CDXS18LVJU (18,000 BTUs) and CDXS24LVJU (24,000 BTUs).
