Simply remove the stainless steel cover to reveal a cutting board. And, when you want access to the space beneath simply slide the cutting board back and there is the waste chute! Getting rid of your cutting board scraps couldn't be easier. You will need the Trash Center (TCR) to complete the installation for the trash center. The unit is also sold complete as ADLXRC which combines the Prep and Waste Chute Assembly and the Trash Center for you.
