Induction cooking is the safest and most efficient way to cook, cooking at least 50% faster than gas or electric. Now induction cooking goes portable.  Anywhere you need an additional cooking zone, you can put this cooktop.  Imagine not having to carry a pot of boiling water from the stove, just plug in the cooktop in a safe area nearer to the sink.  This Fagor Port2Ind model features a double zone, 6 power levels, a built-in digital timer and digital control panel.  It is easy to clean, and safe to use.

Compatible with induction ready cookware such as cast aluminum enameled iron and steel, stainless steel with a magnetic bottom, or cast iron. All Fagor pressure cookers and cookware are induction compatible
The auto-pan detection will shut the unit automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware is detected

The auto-pan detection feature ensures that the unit does not generate heat and will shut-off automatically if no cookware is detected.
When pot is removed from the burner, the unit will sound a warning and turn off after 60 seconds
Automatic shutdown: this feature will turn the cooktop off automatically after a certain period of cooking time (2-4hrs depending on power level), in the event that it is left on accidentally. The timer overrides this default.

This is the best cooktop I have ever used and I have been cooking for nearly 50 years.  The level 3 is hot enough to cook almost everything.  Easy to clean. Fast to heat.
