Sanyo 12KHS71 11900 BTU Single Zone Wall Mount Ductless Mini Split System with DC Inverter, Microprocessor Controls, Wireless Remote Control and Heat Pump. By varying the rotational speed of the compressor, the converter matches the amount of refrigerant being delivered to the actual need of the zone. This increases efficiency and helps compensate for increases or decreases of heat load, keeping the temperature consistent.  The microprocessor control automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain a comfortable airflow throughout the room. The wireless remote control allows you to control a wide range of functions with just a touch.
 
This unit includes one indoor unit (KHS1271) and one outdoor unit (CH1271)
 
This unit must be installed by a qualified licensed HVAC technician. Manufacturer covers parts only under warranty. Installer is responsible for labor warranty.
 
Features
  • Apatite Filter: Apatite or calcium phosphate is highly effective in trapping germs, mites, pollen, dirt, dust and cigarette odors. The triple layered air clean apatite filter consists of antibacterial, deodorizing and dust-collecting sections that maintain healthy, clean air in your room.
  • Negative Ion Generator: The negative ions generator fills your room with negative ions throughout the year
  • Microprocesor Controlled Operation: Ensures the temperature and humidity levels in the room are always comfortable.
  • Wireless Remote Control: The infrared remote control with an easy to read LCD display, gives the capability to adjust and set temperature, sweep (louver control), fan speeds, timer, night setback and more.
  • Self Diagnosing Function: Details of previous warnings are stored and can be verified on the liquid crystal display. This makes it easier to diagnose malfunctions, greatly reducing service labor.
  • Dry Mode: By coupling compressor and fan operation, intermittent operation can be precisely controlled according to room temperature, so the air is efficiently dehumidified.
  • 3 Fan Speeds/Auto Fan Operation: Convenient microprocessor control automatically adjusts fan speed to High, Medium or Low, according to room temperature to maintain a comfortable airflow throughout the room
  • Air Sweep Control: Moves the louver up and down in the air outlet, directing air in a "sweeping" motion around the room and providing comfort in every corner
  • Louver Control: Can be manually set to the desired angle by remote control
  • Auto Heating and Cooling Changeover: If the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, cooling operation begins, if it is lower than the set temperature, heating begins. During normal thermostat cycle operation, cooling and heating operations automtically change in accordance with set temperature, time and room temperature
  • Night Setback Mode for Cooling and Heating: In the Cooling and Dry Mode, the unit automatically raises the setting temperature 2°F after 30 minutes and another 2°F after the next 30 minutes.  In the Heating Mode, the setting temperature is lowered 4°F after 30 minutes and another 4°F after the next 30 minutes. This saves energy without sacrificing comfort, and is ideal for gentle cooling and heating
  • Hot Start Heating System: The Hot Start Heating System prevents any cold blasts at the beginning while the heat pump is warming up.
  • 24-Hour Clock with On/Off Program Timer: Allows setting of On/Off with a timer setting, same time On/Off everyday, On timer, Off timer and Combination timer
  • 1-Hour Off Timer: When this button is pushed either while the unit is operating or while it is stopped, the unit will operate for one hour and then switch off automatically
  • Anti Mold Filter: Filter is treated with anti-mold coatings to prevent mold or bacteria from occuring
  • Auto Restart Function after Power Failure: Allows the system to automatically resume operation at its present program, after power is restored from a power failure
  • Low Ambient Operation: Cooling can be used even when outdoor temperatures are as low as 41°F, making it ideal for locations requiring year-round cooling.
  • Electronic Expansion Valve: The circulation volume of the refrigerant is controlled by a pulse type electric control valve. In order to attain optimum efficiency, when the power is switched ON, the opening degree of the electric control valve is controlled between 90 and 480 steps
  • OPD=0 Refrigerant: Ozone Depletion Potential = 0.  R-410A refrigerant is environmentally friendly
  • Quiet Mode: Low fan speed for extra quiet operation
