As long as you have a gas line (LP or NG) running to your existing fireplace, the Flint Hill Gas Log Set can be placed right into your fireplace. Flint Hill log sets feature richly detailed, hand-painted logs that are mounted on top of a vent-free contour burner. This complete set includes burner, logs, and glowing embers to add to the illusion of a real wood fire at any heat setting. The Flint Hill Gas Log Set requires a minimum firebox depth of only 12 inches, a perfect replacement log set, or can also be used for a newly constructed fireplace/firebox.
The Vented/Vent-Free Burners include an Oxygen Depletion System to quickly shut off the gas if room oxygen levels drop to unsafe levels. Vented/Vent-Free burners convert to Vented by opening the fireplace damper. A vented burner operates at higher BTU. They have no Oxygen Depletion System and are certified for use only in a vented firebox or conventional fireplace. The Empire Comfort Systems created this collection to add to the decor of your room.
Two different types of burner valves are available for the Flint Hill Log Sets - a Manual Valve and a Millivolt Valve. The Manual-Control Burners operate with a 3-position knob, while the Millivolt Systems work with Empire wall thermostats and remote controls. Made in the USA.
