 Empire Comfort Systems BF-20 20000 BTU Blue Flame Vent Free Gas Heater with Modulating Hydraulic Thermostat. The BF20 produces an inviting atmospheric warmth quickly and efficiently. BF-20 is equipped with a modulating hydraulic thermostat that modulates from 8,500 BTU to 20,000 BTU for continuous temperature control. The modulating hydraulic thermostat which, upon reaching the preset comfort level, cycles the main burner flame from HI to LO and, when the thermostat is satisfied, to OFF while leaving the pilot on. This reduces the large flame to a smaller flame while still emitting heat. Vent-Free Products are intended to be used as a supplemental or secondary heat source. If window condensation problems are common in your home, installing a vent-free heater may not be a good option for you. This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by state or local codes. Made in the USA.
