Product Overview
The DVC35IPX wall furnace is installed on an outside wall and can be recessed up to 9.5" between standard wall studs. A counterflow wall furnace heats larger areas and uses a small amount of floor space. Heat comes out at floor level, naturally rising to give you an even distribution throughout the room. It features a sealed combustion chamber for better air quality. The DVC Series of Counterflow furnaces has a 76% AFUE Efficiency Rating.
There is an optional side outlet and register (SOK-1, SOR-1 sold separately) available. This installation allows heat to be dispersed from side of furnace cabinet for more widespread heat distribution.
Heating with gas is a more cost efficient way of heating versus heating with electricity. The DVC-35-IPX is 35,000 BTUs of heating power and is equipped with an electronic ignition so there is no standing pilot.
A thermostat is not included with this furnace. This is a 24V furnace and can be used with either a Wireless Remote Wall Thermostat (TRW) or a Wall Thermostat Millivolt Reed Switch (TMV) [each sold separately].
Front panels remove easily for cleaning and servicing.
Note: This item is available in Liquid Propane (DVC-35-IPX-LP) and Natural Gas (DVC-35-IPX-NAT). Natural Gas is standard. Liquid Propane requires additional lead time.
A licensed gas technician is required for installation of this product. Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs. Empire Comfort System warranty covers parts only, no labor.
