Powered by a single Samsung Smart Inverter compressor, the Samsung Free Joint Multi outdoor unit matches to both the Neo Forte High Wall or Slim Duct series indoor units with individual capacities of 9,000 or 12,000 BTUs (18,000 unit is also available but cannot be used with this outdoor unit). Also available is Samsung's slim 1 way and mini 4-way ceiling cassette with individual capacities of 9,000 or 12,000 BTUs (18,000 mini 4-way unit is also available but cannot be used with this outdoor unit). With the 24000 BTU outdoor unit, you can connect two indoor units with total capacities ranging from 18,000 - 24,000 BTU. This gives you the option to add two different units depending on the needs of the rooms you are looking to cool.
When you first turn the system on, it goes to the maximum capacity to reach your set temperature. Once your desired temperature is reached, the system adjusts to offset any changes in the room composition - more people, fewer people, open or closed windows. Less temperature fluctuation means more comfort for you! But don't worry about changing your desired temperature - the instant you change the temperature, the evaporators will go to maximum capacity to reach your new set point quickly. Talk about efficiency, this unit is extremely efficient featuring a SEER rating of 15.5.
