THS145830 Line Set for Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioning Systems - 1/4" x 5/8" x 30'. A line set is required for installation of a mini split air conditioner. A line set is two semi-flexible copper pipes which connect the outdoor air conditioner or heat pump to the indoor air handler. They are a smaller pipe, the liquid line and a larger pipe, the suction line. Both lines are insulated on mini-split line sets. The first measurement, liquid line diameter is available in 1/4, 3/8 or 5/8 inches, and the suction line, the second measurement is available as 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 inches depending on the size and efficiency of the air conditioner or heat pump. The last measurement is the length, which is available in differing sizes.
