THS14121215FN Line Set for Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioning Systems - 1/4" x 1/2" x 1/2" Insulation x 15' with Flare Nuts Attached. A line set is required for installation of a mini split air conditioner. A line set is two semi-flexible copper pipes which connect the outdoor air conditioner or heat pump to the indoor air handler. They are a smaller pipe, the liquid line and a larger pipe, the suction line. Both lines are insulated on mini-split line sets. The first measurement, liquid line diameter is available in 1/4, 3/8 or 5/8 inches, and the suction line, the second measurement is available as 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4 inches depending on the size and efficiency of the air conditioner or heat pump. Line sets are available with 3/8" or 1/2" insulation. The new mini splits which use R410A Freon should use 1/2" insulation. The last measurement is the length, which is available in differing sizes.
This line set has a 1/4" liquid line, 1/2" suction line, 1/2" insulation and a 15' length and the flare nuts are attached.
